Whoa whoa whoa wait…
I’m sorry but how exactly is it playing ‘fair’ to continue to completely emotionally torture the already unstable Regina? I found my real mom. Nice. Real nice. But at the same time I liked this scene and how Emma is trying to keep him and the whole town grounded (as we see in this upcoming episode too). I don’t think anyone is playing fair with Regina except for Emma. And vice versa, really. Look at Henry, Sidney, Mr. Gold, even Graham; they are using Emma in different ways get back at her, justified or not, and lying to her. And it’s funny because Emma arguably, if she believed the book, has the most reason *not* to play fair. I mean, at this point and maybe I’m watching a different show, lol, it doesn’t feel like good vs. evil, it feels like Regina vs. the world (a world that can be just as evil as Regina supposedly is and, in fact, maybe made her the way she is) and Emma is caught in the middle. While everyone else is trying to bring Regina down, Emma keeps questioning their premises as much, if not more, than she questions Regina’s. And, at this point, she has sided with Regina just as much as she has with any of her adversaries. But yeah, OMG this could all just go to hell in a matter of hours, though! ;p
^I agree with everything this post says. Most of the time I want to either hug Regina, or tell Henry to give her a hug, because honestly being rejected by the child you raised must be one of the worst feelings ever. She’s never been downright cruel to Henry, and it might just be my opinion, but I believe she honestly does care for Henry. Emma seems to understand that, hopefully she won’t write Regina off as just “evil.”
